Dear prominent fanfic writer of certain fandom,
I didn’t appreciate you pimping your fic on my page the other day. You left a lovely comment about the story I wrote, but I just DNW.
Also, I’m pretty sure a fic I wrote influenced your writing style and I find it irritating that you’re getting the credit for being ‘original’ when other writers like myself have done it before hand. I realize that I don’t own that style, but I don’t think it’s pure coincidence that you released a new fic featuring this style not too long after I posted mine up. It’s flattering but not cool at the same time. By the same couple as well? Seriously…HAVE MORE TACT.
Kpop auditions
K, since I have no life I’ve been looking at Kpop audition tapes. Not because I want to join, I just like seeing who auditions, cause I’m creepy that way.
Some people are deluded yo. Especially the ones giving advice and think they’re actually good. Seriously, don’t be saying that you were one of the better singers in the group you were placed in an audition and convince me enough with your confidence to click on a clip only to hear you singing like a dying goat.
Backlash from the Philipines Bus Hijack

Criticisms of how the police handled the situation have been the main focus of how the situation got out of hand.
I’m not trying to justify the actions of the police who were clearly disorganized and under prepared but I feel that the backlash from a lot of people have been very negative towards Filipino’s. I feel that it’s borderline racist and unnecessary. Yes, people have the right to be angry, but they should be angry at the police. If they want something to be done, they shouldn’t be complaining behind a computer, they should be taking action by appealing to the government for training their policemen better.
Stop making the situation worse by scape goating people. Yes, it was tragic and possible lives could be saved, but complaining and being so negative won’t help the healing process of those who’ve lost their loved ones. It’ll only make them feel resentful, and that’s not a nice feeling to have on top of having someone close to you die.
What the fuck is this shit about people telling Hong Kong-er’s to stop hiring Filipino people because of this incident? It’s shameful that people have made it some racial issue. The Filipino police are not representative of the whole entire nation of the Philipines and just because some girls took some photo’s in the aftermath of the incident does not mean that everyone in the Philipines would do the same thing.
I feel just as embarrassed that people are reacting in such an unnecessary way just as how I’m sure people are disappointed that the police couldn’t have done more. Don’t forget that despite the poor planning of the police, the officers still risked their lives to save these tourists regardless of how fail it was.
Grow up and stop being so effing ignorant.

Ok, I’ve never taken a special liking to her, I don’t even follow f(x) but her disappearance makes no sense to me. I miss her, in a “f(x) feels kind of empty without Amber” kind of way.

Miss A’s stylists…
…why?!
I’ve stayed away from Miss A long enough and when I heard and saw their Bad Girl Good Girl performance, I liked it. The only thing I disliked was their terrible outfits. I know Miss A only just debuted and the entertainment company usually doesn’t really invest as much money into the group until they blow up big, but why do the costumes look so incredibly cheap?! Whoever decided on the outfits for Miss A needs to be DEMOTED. From the weird velcro looking tops, flimsy skirts to the weird tacky bandaged heels, why did they insist to inflict this upon these girls?!
Jia’s pink hair is just NO. Why did no one say anything once they bleached her hair and dyed it pink?! Her complexion and bone structure does not suit the shade. Not only that, it’s pretty much visibly damaged her hair. However, I do quite like Fei and Min’s hair so I’ll be easy on the sylists there.
On a semi related note, I like their stage presence. Min is has got the X factor that CL from 2ne1 has however, she does tend to come off as a little over-confident but you know, why shouldn’t she be? Jia seems really fun. I saw small segments of their interviews and I’d reckon she’d be so much fun to hang around with. Fei is really pretty. I love how Jia and Fei have amazing stage charisma as well. Suzy is adorable, as most maknae’s are and a very solid singer and dancer.
Lucifer- Shinee (subliminal messages?)
So, Kpop has decided to release another song about the Devil. What the eff is up with all these similar themes?
I can see people throwing their hands up in their air once again, because they believe the song is preaching the Devil’s word. I’m going to break it down for you people who are feeling uncomfortable about listening to this song because it’s about the devil but LOVE Shinee.
The song is not about telling you to worship the devil, it’s about angst. “Lucifer” is used as a metaphor to say that the love they have for a girl is not good for them. Basically the song is talking about how the girl should keep away from them. Even though they love her, they know their infatuation with the girl will ruin them in the end. This mirrors how the devil tries to tempt you and to those who are weak will give in to the devil and end up losing their soul. So at the end, Shinee is telling the girl (Lucifer) to go away, before she causes real harm to them.
So…don’t feel bad about listening to the song. Shinee is just singing about the troubles people have when they’re in love and how sometimes love can be bad and blind you from reality.
On a side note: Taemin, STOP BEING SO HOT. I feel like a pedophile whenever I see you dance and be so hot. Your biceps make me go 8D in the MV. Now I know what creepy old men feel like when they spazz over those young Kpop girl idols…
CN Blue…Live?
Why the EFF don’t music stages let CN Blue play live? For the love of…why the hell are these music stages so freaking cheap? Can you not afford amplifiers and extension cords? How hard can it be to set up these instruments?!
For those of you who don’t know/don’t care/don’t whatever, basically what music stages do such as Inkiyago, Music Core, Music Bank etc., do is that they make CN Blue pretend to play their instruments when a backing track is actually being played over. Can we just establish something…pop music does not equate to JUST singing and dancing. What annoys me is that perfectly capable musicians are forced to pose and pretend to play instruments.
I mean, I guess we should be glad that at least Yonghwa and Jonghyung are singing live, but I feel sorry for Minhyuk and Jungshin who aren’t actually contributing anything to the backing track. It’s awkward. I’m pretty sure Jungshin isn’t happy that his only role as being the bassist is basically useless when it comes to live TV. I can also tell that Jonghyun thinks it’s lame. He doesn’t even try to play the right chords when he’s singing of the track.
Also if we’re going to talk about musicianship here, I just want to establish the band as a whole are very good at what they do. Jonghyun has so much talent, it’s scary. He is amazing at guitar, and his voice is gorgeous. Yonghwa’s voice is great, he just needs to stop straining it, but he’s definitely rhythm guitar for a reason, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Jungshin I can’t tell how good he is because most of CN Blue’s songs only require him to play straight notes, but I’m pretty sure he’s capable of doing funk if he tried because his timing is on par. I really want to see his full potential on bass one day. Minhyuk is an excellent drummer, no denying.

Kpop Ramble on 4Minute and Narsha etc.
First ramble: I don’t know if anyone’s noticed but 4minute’s new singles Huh and I My Me Mine sound just like Change and Muzik. There’s nothing wrong with keeping with a similar style, but a little variety wouldn’t really hurt anyone. I guess I haven’t really jumped back on the 4minute bandwagon because their music is beginning to sound all the same.
Of course, I don’t think it’s 4minute’s fault, they have no input in whatever they sing. Rather I blame the company and songwriters. Assuming all the songs are written/arranged by the same person (which I believe to the core it is, since everything sounds kind of similar) firstly, I blame the company for not being generous to hire a range of songwriters or whoever makes the arrangements. Secondly the songwriters who seem to have no artistic direction and seem to be following the same exact formula. I mean seriously, do the songwriters/arrangers not know how to use different sounding synths and instruments to produce instrumental tracks?
Though, I have to give it to the lyricists for putting in some pretty awesome English in 4minute songs. The English parts in 4minute songs are always my favourite because they are so grammatically wrong but oh so good to sing.
Second ramble of the day: I feel like talking about Narsha’s new single and MV: Bbi Ri Bba Bba. So I’m not going to lie, I’m not a fan of the song. The “Bbi Ri Bba Bba” part annoys me and I just do not like the arrangement. Then again, I didn’t like Abracadabra but found it bearable after awhile.
Firstly after watching the MV, the first thought that came to my head was: “Damn Narsha looks great with red hair.” I wasn’t really reading into the song until I read further comments on the Youtube page.
In short the comments were either about how Satanic it was, or how Lady Gaga-esque the song was.
Further analysis of what my initial reaction was to this song, I really didn’t understand the Lady Gaga comparison, other than the part where she sings “Bbi Ri Bba Bba”. I actually thought how it was similar to Abracadabra. I mean the chord changes and arrangement are pretty unconventional, just like Abracadabra. This led me to assume the same songwriter wrote both songs. I’m not sure whether I’m right, but I have a feeling that I am.
As for the Satanic references. Yes, Narsha was playing the role of the devil, there’s no denying that. However, I really don’t see why there’s an uproar amongst religious sanctions, when the MV is not preaching about worshiping the devil. As I’ve said in previous comments: I think it was more about the “Devil’s Temptation.” Listen to the tonality of the song and the lyrics, the devil tries to entice you with pretty things and pretty words but it comes with a price. The way Narsha is portrayed makes you feel like there’s something sinister behind her actions. To me the man in the MV is given the choice to follow two paths and he gives in to her seemingly innocent demeanor and ends up appearing like a complete fool or had his brains fried at the end.
